S.O.A.R - Transforming Wearable Clothing/Shoes into Art
During the summer I enjoy spending some time up at Rocky Heights Middle School teaching art in their S.O.A.R. program. The S.O.A.R. program is a summer enrichment program. I typically teach two classes. This year I offered a new class where students had the opportunity to turn ordinary items into
extraordinary works of art. We worked with
special fabric dye markers and acrylic paints. Below are pictures of some of out creations.
