Collaborative Project!

Collaborating with colleagues is always fun.  Third grade teachers and I worked together on a project where students drew a silhouette of their own profile, then painted it in either a hot or cool color scheme.  The background was then painted the opposite colors scheme.  In their classes students were asked to write positive descriptive words about their fellow classmates.  Each student then wrote out those words in different font styles inside of the silhouette.  Finally they wrote a positive sentence about themselves for an "outline" to the silhouette.  Below are some examples of the finished pieces.

11th Annual National Arts Program Art Show

This year some current and former Timber Trail students participated in the The National Arts Program 2018 Art Show. This was the first time that students had the opportunity to have their artwork hung alongside their art teacher's work, as well as other professional artists.
