Showcase Night!!

Showcase Night was a success!

Practically the whole school made it through the Art Room in one night.

Students taught their parents how to make some of the fun projects that they have been learning in art class.

Many former students stopped by to say hello!

Save the Date - Showcase Night is Coming Soon!

5th Grade Zentangle Names

What is a Zentangle?

Zentangles are a fabulously fun way to decorate using patterns.  TTE students begin learning how to create their own Zentangles in 2nd grade, so by the time students are in 5th grade - they are experts!

For our Zentangle challenge this year, Fifth graders chose one of their names to write out in thick bubble or graffiti letters. Leaving the letters white, Fifth grade students they decorated the negative space (space between the lettes) with Zentangles of different value (light, medium, dark).  Then they shaded behind the letters and any overlapping parts with a pencil.

Below are some examples of students work in progress, followed by some of their fantastic finished products!
