Douglas County School District Awards Exhibition

Last week we announced four students who were selected to have their artwork displayed at the Douglas County Awards Exhibition.  That reception was held Monday, May 11th at the Pace Center in Parker.

There were lots of yummy treats for everyone.

First grader Olivia Dunn was the recipient of a Wow! Award for her beautiful Mother's Day Flower collage.

Emma Kim won First Place for Second Grade for the Air Academy Federal Credit Union Scholarship award.  She received $25. Everyone loved her Clay Bird.

Madeline Leonardi won First Place for Third Grade for the Air Academy Federal Credit Union Scholarship Award. She received $25 for her Calaveras (Sugar Skull).

Fifth grader Sadie Rowe won for grade 4-6 in the entire Highlands Ranch area. She receive a Scholarship Award from Douglas County Schools of $120 for her stone carved Elephant.  It was presented by our School Board President, Kevin Larsen.

Congratulations to these talented Artists from Timber Trail.
