Keith Haring Cooperative Art

Do you know who Keith Haring is?  Ask a first grader, they know!!

In art class, first graders learned about this graffiti artist turned professional artist.

Part of our learning included this video about Keith Haring.

It tells about his life as well as shows many pictures of his art works. 

They then worked in groups to collaborate to create life-sized Keith Haring inspired works.  Students had to make decision together and trace one of their group in order to create their works.  Below are some pictures of their process and final creations!  Come and check out the halls of TTE to see these life-sized colorful works in person!
