Art Club Masks

Inspired by the Masquerade themed Daddy Daughter Dance, Art Club students designed and created these Venitian themed Masks.

Venetian masks are a tradition from Venice, Italy. The masks are typically worn during the Carnival of Venice.  Traditional Venetian masks are characterized by their ornate designs that feature bright colors, gold and silver embellishments as well as the complex designs in the baroque style.

Fourth graders designed, painted and embellished their masks to create unique masks.  A few of the masks were actually worn to accompany their dresses at the Daddy Daughter Dance.

Below are some student masks fourth graders created.  You can also check them out in Town Square.  They are currently on display there.
